Off gassing is when objects are contaminated with substances that leech ongoing gasses into the air and surrounding surfaces.
Firefighter PPE will become contaminated with various compounds during firefighting and some of these compounds will off-gas following an incident, resulting in exposure to carcinogens.
Each pack of equipment wipes contains 50 wipes, measuring 330mm x 230mm, and are designed for use on hard surfaces in accordance with original equipment manufacturers recommendations.
